August 5, 6, and 7, Hotel Casino Acaray, Ciudad del Este.

From August 5–7, 2026, the Acaray Hotel Casino & Convention Center in Ciudad del Este will host SAGSE Paraguay 2026, the event that will bring together operators, regulators, manufacturers, and suppliers from across the region to discuss the trends transforming the gaming industry in Latin America.

Ahead of the event, we spoke with ASAP Americas, a company with more than 40 years of experience in foreign trade, logistics, and solutions for the entertainment industry, to learn about its perspective on the growth of the Paraguayan market, the opportunities emerging in an environment increasingly favorable to investment and innovation, and the role that specialized logistics can play in supporting the development of new projects in the sector. The company also shares its expectations for participating in SAGSE Paraguay and the importance of building strategic relationships that help drive the industry's growth throughout the region.

What motivated ASAP to support SAGSE Paraguay 2026, and how do you assess the current state of the local market?

Trends do not lie, and we have seen that many manufacturers are interested in entering the Paraguayan market. In a context where some markets have yet to fully open and others have not delivered tangible benefits for the importation of casino equipment and parts, companies are beginning to explore alternative opportunities.

Ciudad del Este is a unique location where three countries converge, with a daily flow of up to 40,000 visitors. As Latin America’s commercial capital par excellence, this volume of visitors has the potential to translate into an attractive market for the hospitality and entertainment industries.

When an opportunity with such potential emerges, it is important for ASAP Americas, a company with more than 40 years of experience in foreign trade throughout the region, to be present and experience it firsthand.

Paraguay is undergoing a process of transformation and professionalization. What opportunities do you see for companies providing solutions, services, and technology to the sector?

Paraguay appears to be one step ahead when it comes to tax incentives for digital services. In a market that is constantly evolving to integrate technology and adapt to it, there are likely to be interesting opportunities for companies to expand their operations in the country—or at least seriously consider doing so.

What do you hope to achieve through your participation in SAGSE Paraguay: networking, positioning, new clients, partnerships, or institutional presence?

For us, the key is always understanding the needs of the sector so that we can provide the right support—whether through consulting, connecting suppliers and clients, developing customized solutions, or, if required, offering logistics services.

Our mission is, and always has been, to make foreign trade operations simpler for the gaming industry.
