SAGSE Paraguay 2026: Technical Day on August 6 Will Train Casino Personnel in Online Systems, Machine Connectivity, and Operational Control

On Thursday, August 6, SAGSE Paraguay 2026 will host a special Technical Day dedicated to casino technical staff, maintenance managers, operational teams, and gaming technicians at the Acaray Hotel Casino & Convention Center in Ciudad del Este.

The activity will be part of the second day of the event and will focus on providing practical tools for daily casino operations, with emphasis on online systems, machine connectivity, technical control, ticket validation, communication protocols, and operational best practices.

The training program will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and will follow a theoretical and practical format, covering the fundamentals required to connect gaming machines to online casino systems.

One of the highlights of the day will be the technical presentation delivered by Daniel Placeres, Manager at Sielcon.

Topics will include an introduction to gaming machine communication protocols, the historical evolution of protocols used by different manufacturers, the technical characteristics of the most widely used systems today, and the various levels of casino system implementation, including accounting, TITO, and cashless solutions.

Participants will also explore the key data requirements for properly connecting slot machines to online systems, different ticket validation methods, machine-to-system connection alternatives, essential technical precautions, and the various electrical communication levels, including RS232, TTL, RS485, and current loop systems.

Another key area of focus will be the use of testing equipment to perform measurements, identify faults, and improve technical response capabilities when addressing operational issues on the casino floor. The session will also reinforce the importance of technical work and the responsibility involved in the adjustment, monitoring, and maintenance of gaming machines.

Following the training sessions, participants will attend a Technical Networking Lunch, providing an opportunity for casino teams, suppliers, specialists, and industry professionals to exchange experiences and strengthen operational relationships.

At the conclusion of the day, participation diplomas will be awarded, and special prize drawings will be held for attending technicians, including oscilloscope kits, tool kits, and professional screwdriver sets.

With this initiative, SAGSE Paraguay 2026 reinforces its commitment to the professionalization of the industry, not only through its executive and regulatory agenda but also through hands-on training for the professionals responsible for the daily technical operation of gaming venues.
