March 18 & 19, 2026 at the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center

As part of SAGSE South America 2026, taking place on March 18–19 at the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center, we spoke with Víctor Arias, VP of LATAM at ARRISE, powering Pragmatic Play. As a Diamond Sponsor of the event, the company is reinforcing its commitment to the region with a strategy focused on advanced localization, high-quality products, and sustainable growth. In this interview, Arias discusses which verticals are leading the semester, what they aim to build at SAGSE, and the key milestones shaping the 2026 roadmap.

As Diamond Sponsor, what message do you want to leave to the LATAM market for the coming months: more localization, more engagement tools, or a stronger focus on sustainable growth?

Returning to SAGSE fills us with pride, as it is the industry’s “home” in Argentina and a key meeting point for Latin America. From ARRISE, we support Pragmatic Play with a very clear message: grow on solid foundations. This translates into deeper localization, market by market, stronger and more robust tools, and, above all, high-quality products that continue to optimize the experience for both players and operators. We want to further strengthen Pragmatic Play’s relationship with current partners while also opening conversations with new operators.

Which vertical do you see as strongest for the first half: slots, live, or hybrid formats, and what is driving it in the region?

I would say it is a very powerful mix today. Slots continue to drive momentum thanks to the strength of established franchises and the consistency of releases. Live Casino is experiencing enormous growth due to the increasing demand for more immersive and localized experiences, while hybrid formats are gaining ground because players are looking for variety without friction. In addition, the market is becoming increasingly mature, and operators need integrated, scalable solutions with tools that allow them to convert attention into retention.

At SAGSE, what are you looking to build: expansion with key operators, regional strategic alliances, or market education to raise standards? Anything else to highlight about your participation and the 2026 roadmap?

SAGSE is a great opportunity to sit down and listen to operators. We want to understand their needs and respond with concrete solutions aligned with the reality of each market. We are also focused on strengthening alliances that accelerate localization and raise the standard of the regional offering.

Regarding the 2026 roadmap, we are very excited about what lies ahead this year. We presented the Pragmatic Play Sports sportsbook platform in Rio de Janeiro, and in the coming months the first Live Casino studio in Brazil will be launched—the second in Latin America within a year. In addition, the launch of Jelly Express, a slot that promises to be one of the year’s standout titles, is scheduled for the end of this month and has already received strong feedback at ICE. There is a great deal of content designed exclusively for the region, and both ARRISE and Pragmatic Play are eager to unveil it and work alongside operators on its rollout.
