After its successful return to Panama, SAGSE Central America & Caribbean confirmed its next edition for June 3-4, 2026, and will repeat its venue: the Sortis Hotel, Casino & Convention Center.

Movement to a strategic date of the year

"The event will take place strategically one week before the start of the World Cup and before SBC Miami, positioning itself as the great commercial meeting point, before the key events of the year," the organizers highlighted.

"In this edition, the focus will be on the exponential growth of sports betting in the region, with a program of conferences and networking designed especially for operators, platforms, data providers, bookmakers, fintechs, security, blockchain technology, and regulators,” the organizers explained.

According to what has been announced, SAGSE will gather the main players of land-based and online gaming in Central America and the Caribbean, with participants coming not only from Panama, but also from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Belize, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Bahamas, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Aruba, Curacao, Martinique, Guadeloupe, the Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Bermuda.

"In 2025, we achieved a 100% Caribbean call and were full of real buyers. In 2026, we reinforce that base, with total focus on sports betting, business, and regulation in a 5-star environment," stated Alan Burak, Vice President of Monografie.

Panama is the ideal hub for business

Thanks to Copa Airlines' Stopover program, international attendees will be able to add between one and seven nights in Panama at no additional cost to their airfare, making SAGSE a must-attend event for companies looking to do business in multiple markets and from a single destination.

Thus, key benefits for international exhibitors highlighted by SAGSE include direct access to operators from over 25 countries, perfect timing before the World Cup and SBC Miami, an exclusive environment and qualified audiences, a real opportunity to close business at the event, and Panama does not require a VISA for entry.

"SAGSE is deeply grateful for the support of PROMTUR Panama, ASAJA, the Gaming Control Board (JCJ), the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Economy, and the National Lottery of Charity (LNB). These entities were key in the positioning and support of the event, consolidating Panama as the capital of responsible, regulated, and high-value gaming in the region", the organizers concluded.
